For more than 30 years, ROBIN has grown with every challenge it has taken on. Today, more than 85 employees contribute their experience and expertise to our projects. Through numerous projects, construction sites and challenges tackled together, we have built up a level of expertise that now sets us apart.

Family business
The story of ROBIN began in 1995, when Hans-Gerd Robin set up his own business. Since 2025, his son Marco Robin has led the company as the second generation.
This heritage continues to shape us today: we think long term, make dependable decisions and remain close to our clients, projects and employees. At the same time, we continue to develop our company – professionally, technically and organisationally.
Hans-Gerd Robin establishes Elektro Robin GmbH & Co. KG in Dörpen, with a clear focus on industrial services.
On behalf of transmission system operator TenneT, ROBIN begins providing electrical systems for converter stations.
Electrical engineer Marco Robin joins the company as the second generation and establishes the energy-sector business division.
Elektro Robin GmbH & Co. KG becomes ROBIN GmbH.
ROBIN is awarded the largest contract in the company’s history to date, becoming the electrical engineering partner for the delivery of the HVDC projects within this major grid expansion programme.
After 30 years, Hans-Gerd Robin hands over management of the company to his son, Marco Robin.
